If you were to walk into my classroom you would see at LEAST 3 ceiling tiles that say “We’re all mad in here.” with the Cheshire cat grinning down to you in all his forms from the original Disney film to the Tim Burton remake of the Mad Hatter. My students claim they love the craziness of the art room. That they find solace in the chaos. Over time, many of my colleagues have come to feel the same way.
I’m notorious in my school for my crazy outlandish prom props and school decorations. Many people have told me to start a blog years ago but I’ve made so many excuses.
I don’t have time.
I don’t have a niche.
The list goes on and on. I have SO many interests that I like to dabble in, I don’t want to be held down to one. I’ve decided to go outside the box and create my own Wonderland so to speak. I want to document it all.
I love to create and there is no limit to what I will try to make. One day I will make a pen and ink drawing, the next, an acrylic painting. Wreaths, decorations, gifts, the latest and greatest craft/art trending Pinterest. I love to try it all. If I want to make it, I will and then I will post it here so you can love it too.
My second passion is traveling. I love to be inspired by the places I go. I am going to use this blog to document my travels and the art that results from these adventures. My goal is to see every continent and experience every culture possible.
Baking and cooking is a huge part of my life, probably because I am Italian. You know how us Italian’s love to eat. I will create a section for all the fun desserts I now have an excuse to try π
I hope you guys have as much fun reading this as I am going to have creating it!
